STORYTIME

Children are welcome to gather on the mat in our cosy shop to listen to three stories read by Emilie at 10am each Wednesday during term time. We read a broad range of books that introduce your child to beautiful language, a bevy of world views and experiences, and delightful artistic works. Spending time together reading is a brilliant way to develop language skills and build a positive culture of reading in your family.

All are welcome, though storytime is best suited to children aged two to five. No need to register. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Graciela in the Abyss by Meg Medina

Graciela was once living, but now she is a spirit floating through the ocean. The lives lived by the ocean’s slowly disintegrating dead are surprisingly colourful and busy! Sensitive Jorge (alive!) is withering under the weight of his vengeful family.
